HR Program Manager
Overview
In this contract role, you will design and stand up a centralized Reasonable Workplace Accommodations function from the ground up, shaping governance, processes, and technology. You’ll lead the program build for 6–9 months, creating a scalable case management framework and training for HR and people managers. You’ll drive policy, SOPs, and stakeholder alignment to ensure compliant, defensible operations across diverse work environments. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence how accommodations are delivered at scale and supported by integrated technology.
ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end accommodations process (intake to monitoring) across ADA/ADAAA, PWFA, Title VII, and state lawsDevelop a tiered case model reflecting corporate, field, and construction environmentsDefine governance, escalation paths, decision authority, and Legal partnership triggersCreate policy, SOPs, and resource library for consistent operationLead stakeholder alignment and training; model best-practice case handlingAssess and recommend ServiceNow case management design; support implementationDefine reporting framework with KPIs, data sources, cadence, and audience views
Key requirements5+ years managing workplace accommodation programs under ADA/ADAAA, PWFA, and/or Title VIIExperience designing or significantly overhauling an accommodations programDeep knowledge of ADA interactive process, medical documentation standards, undue hardship analysis, and essential functions assessmentExperience supporting accommodations across diverse workforce populations (field, construction, etc.)Strong project management; ability to drive multiple workstreams in an ambiguous, build-from-scratch environmentExecutive-level communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience using AI to streamline workflows (or similar technology)executive communicationstakeholder managementanalytical thinkingServiceNow case management systemAI technology to simplify workflowsability to learn and navigate new systems
