The Server Assistant will primarily assist both the host and server teams to ensure fluidity and proper preparation throughout service.Responsibilities:Interact with guests in a warm and friendly mannerPrepares dining room for guests by cleaning and setting tablesAdheres to sanitation and safety policiesMaintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to guest spills or other special needsSupports server by setting-up and replenishing condiment stands, trash containers liners and service/bus stationsCloses dining room by cleaning chairs and tables; sweeping and/or vacuuming floors and removing trash and recyclables from the facilityPerforms other reasonable job duties as requested by leaderQualifications:Friendly, courteous, and well-spokenWorks well with a teamOrganized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexibleAn appetite for growth and further knowledge in the food and beverage fieldOperate with passion, integrity, and respect for both internal team members and external guestsAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as neededHigh School Diploma or related preferredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) poundsWork requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
