We intend to disrupt the technology market with the software tools that we built to power our own successful digital transformation.Role SummaryAs a Manager, Process Manager, responsibilities will include focus on documenting, analyzing, and improving processes supporting Core Payment Platforms. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each and every time. You may also lead or engage in critical departmental or cross-functional organizational initiatives and projects.This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across multiple functional areas including multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate others in delivering flawless execution of process improvement projects. Knowledge of how to navigate regulatory requirements, as well as the development and management of process controls, will be critical to maintaining a well-managed process. This is an excellent opportunity to continue your career in the field of Process Management.General ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of processes to support privacy and security, privacy controls, and manage privacy scopingIdentify opportunities to streamline, automate and enhance our data management practices, processes and controls, and validationsDevelop and maintain formal process documentation, including procedures and process flow diagramsWork with team members to develop robust risk management processesAnalyze data and influence others to proactively identify data risks and trendsConsultation and representation of well managed processes, customer experience, and risk management for new intentEffectively partner with Product, Technology and Intent Owners to achieve desired outcomes or improvements by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutionsCollect data and information to provide transparency to senior leadership on the health of the processIdentify and implement process improvementsTrack and resolve process breakdowns, issues and risk eventCreating and validating processesDesigning and producing metrics used to measure efficiency and effectivenessDriving process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomesBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree or Military experienceAt least 2 years of experience in Process managementAt least 2 years of Jira experiencePreferred Qualifications4+ years of Product, Business or Technical experience2+ years of experience in Process managementSalary and BenefitsAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.Chicago, IL: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process ManagementRiverwoods, IL: $122,100 - $139,400 for Manager, Process ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
