Job DescriptionSUMMARY Sr. Application Coordinators have primary responsibility for design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of clinical applications. They are responsible for obtaining and maintain in-depth knowledge of the software functionality, and acquiring knowledge of the clinical/business workflows to be implemented on the system. Jointly with each other and with the department representatives, they design a future-state workflow and build the system to support the new workflow. They work with each other in workgroups, and across interdisciplinary workgroups, to accomplish these goals as a team.Location : Atlanta, GA (Must live in GA)Job Type : Full timeShift/Schedule : DaysQualificationsBaccalaureate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or equivalent education, training and/or experience3-5 years experience providing analytical support of administrative and clinical applications in a large health system3-5 years experience implementing advanced clinical applications that cross multiple disciplinesAbility to deal with a number of tasks simultaneouslyStrong attention to detail, with advanced knowledge of database design, system integration, and operational process flowCommunicate effectively with technical team as well as managers and end users - both written and verbalDemonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problemsStrong organizational skillsPossesses an understanding of EMR system capabilities to address process requirements
