LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)
```Duties```
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, such as venipuncture and sonography
- Provide acute pain management and comfort measures to patients
- Perform catheterization and wound care as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (such as NextGen) to record patient data and update medical records
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding healthcare needs
```Qualifications```
- Valid LPN license in the state of Missouri
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Proficient in medical terminology and familiar with common medical procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Knowledge of home care practices is a plus
- Ability to triage patients based on severity of condition
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety measures
