PROGRAM MANAGER

Program Manager - BWI AIRPORT We are seeking an exceptional Program Manager to lead and oversee a range of large-scale airport projects, both flat and vertical, valued at $100M or more. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of airport operations and extensive experience in managing complex projects within the aviation sector. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving project success, ensuring they meet or exceed the rigorous demands of scope, size, and complexity associated with modern aviation infrastructure. Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. Certification/Training: Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect license in Maryland required for candidates with 15 years of aviation engineering experience. Alternatively, a Program Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification is required for candidates with a minimum of 20 years of aviation engineering experience. Experience: Must be a permanent employee of the Prime Consultant, demonstrating unwavering commitment and profound capabilities in the organization. A minimum of 15 years of direct aviation engineering experience for licensed Professional Engineers or Architects. A minimum of 20 years of aviation engineering experience for those holding PMP or CCM certifications. Proven track record of successfully managing diverse airport projects, including both flat and vertical constructions, with extensive knowledge and operational acumen in the aviation sector. Core Responsibilities: Serve as the leading authority on all phases of the project management lifecycle for significant airport development projects. Apply expert knowledge of airport operations to guide project execution, ensuring all projects adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects within specified timelines, budgets, and scope, ensuring comprehensive compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. Develop and implement strategic project plans, including risk management and contingency planning, to mitigate potential challenges and drive project success. Foster strong relationships with all stakeholders, including airport authorities, construction firms, design teams, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery.
