Job DescriptionFarm & Agricultural Aviation Operations Technician (2 Positions Open)Location: Central Missouri Status: Full-Time, Year-RoundHiring: ASAPWe are a long-established agricultural operation (25 years in business) seeking two dependable, hands-on employees to work across row-crop farming and agricultural aviation support. This role combines farm work with seasonal helicopter spraying operations during the summer.This is a great opportunity for someone who likes long days, real responsibility, and learning multiple sides of the ag industry.Job OverviewThis position is split between:Farm operations (year-round)Agricultural aviation support (seasonal - July & August)The aviation side is intense and fast-paced, while the farm side provides steady, full-year employment.Aviation / Helicopter Application Duties (Summer - July & August)Load and stage spray trucksMix and handle agricultural chemicals safely and accuratelySupport helicopter spray operationsCoordinate logistics between trucks, pilots, and customersAssist with customer scheduling and job planningHelp build and manage customer accountsLong days (daylight to dark) for approximately 60 days straightProduction-based work paid per acreNote: This portion is physically demanding and best suited for someone comfortable with long summer hours.Farm Duties (Year-Round)Operate farm equipment (planters, combines, tractors, etc.)Run semi trucks and haul grainGeneral farm labor and daily operationsLight mechanical work and equipment maintenanceProblem-solving and adapting based on skillsetHelp where needed - this is a "do-what-it-takes" farm roleIdeal Candidate Skill SetWe're flexible on background, but bullet points matter the more you can do, the better:Farm equipment operatorCDL or experience running semi trucks (preferred, not required)Comfortable with math, measurements, and chemical mixingMechanical aptitude (light mechanic work)Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learnAble to work long hours during peak seasonsPrior ag or aviation support experience is a plus, but not requiredIf you're an operator with mechanical skills and can do basic math, we can teach the restPay & BenefitsAviation Side (July-August):Production pay (per acre)Typically $35,000-$45,000 for ~2 monthsFarm Side (Year-Round):Hourly pay: $22.50-$32.50/hour, based on experienceRealistic First-Year Earnings:$70,000-$120,000, depending on hours and involvementLong-Term Incentives:After 1 year: bonus structureLong-term employees may receive 1% of gross farm revenueTypically around $35,000 annuallyPaid at employee's discretionDesigned to keep you invested in the businessAdditional DetailsNo relocation assistance, but relocation is welcomeMust be legally able to work in the U.S.Drug-free workplaceHiring immediatelyHow to ApplyPlease include:A brief work historyBullet points of what you can do (equipment, trucks, mechanics, etc.)Any relevant licenses or certificationsIf you're looking for a long-term ag career with strong earning potential and real responsibility, we'd like to talk.Please submit a resume for consideration.
