Calibration Technician

United Measurement Technologies (UMT) is a full-service calibration laboratory located in Miami, Florida. We provide in lab and onsite instrument calibration and repair services to customers in the United States and internationally. Our quality management system is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and compliant with ANSI/NCSL Z540-3. We are looking to hire a full time calibration technician with a strong understanding of Metrology concepts and a minimum of two years of experience in the industry. Calibration Technician Job Responsibilities Include: Perform calibration, adjustments, and verification of precision test and measurement equipment, to include but not limited to Pressure, Dimensional, Mass, Force, & Thermodynamic Strive for exceptional customer satisfaction and timely turnaround of customer equipment Accurately prepare necessary documentation Requirements: Minimum two years of experience in a similar position Basic computer skills Able to lift 50 lbs and climb stairs Valid US driver's license Outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail Experience with quality systems such as ISO 17025 or ISO 9001 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Language: Spanish (Preferred) English (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
