Estimator PositionPAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator. In this critical role, you will lead the estimation process for complex projects supporting the power industry, ensuring precise cost assessments and competitive bids. You must have good technical knowledge and the ability to work independently. You will collaborate closely with various departments to develop comprehensive and competitive estimates. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our project's success and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the industry. You will drive decisions with the support of the company's leadership group.Location/Travel Requirements: Position will have 10% travel expectations and will be located in the Aurora, CO office.Salary Range is $100,000 - $140,000 depending on qualifications and experience.ResponsibilitiesDevelop bid hour and bid sheets for estimates on bid projectsContact suppliers for pricingNegotiate pricingPrepare take-offs, staking sheetsCreate logistics plans for materialsFamiliarize with bid documentsConduct visits to job sites as neededTimely inform others within the department of project status and current assignmentsAssess accurate and efficient estimating techniquesAssist other members of the estimating teamCollect and analyze historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future productsPrepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling workAnalyze drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for small to very large, complex projectsDevelop and maintain professional, working relationships with vendors, customers, engineers, owners, contractors, and subcontractors for any changes in work, schedule, and estimatesHandle technical problems encountered during bid preparationStay current on various trends and developments such as new equipment, methods, and procedures developing in the industry or specialized discipline (e.g., electrical, civil, foundations, etc.).Prepare special studies or reports required by the unusual nature of some bid items or conditions.QualificationsUndergraduate or graduate degree in Construction or Electrical Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance OR extensive and related work experience leading to a thorough understanding of the knowledge, skills and abilities described above3+ years of estimating experience in a construction-related industryBenefitsPAR offers a comprehensive benefits package including:100% employer-paid health care benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for you and your dependents100% employer-paid basic life insurance100% employer-paid disability benefits401(k) retirement plan with matching contributionPaid Time Off (sick and vacation)Paid HolidaysTuition AssistanceWellness and Mental Health ProgramsLearning and Development ProgramsPAR Electrical Contractors, LLC does not sponsor applicants for work visas.
