Assembler / Structured Cable Tech

Job Description Job Summary: All skills levels can apply. Assembler or Structured cable welcome.The primary function of this position is to build, cable, fiber, and perform software upgrades to equipment in ESIS integration area. Primary focus is to finish builds in the hot staging type projects. Assures the timeliness and quality of assembled product and production records.  Coordinates activities with the Engineering, Order Management, and Logistics Departments to ensure that the product meets the customer's needs and is delivered on time.Managerial ResponsibilityNo direct reports. Travel/Shift RequirementsNo travel requiredAbility to work non-standard shift hoursPhysical DemandsAbility to lift and/or push 40lbsAble to stand for two or more hours at a timeSkills and Abilities RequiredMaintain awareness of new technologies and emerging technologies and their potential application on client engagementsAdvance knowledge in communication system, interconnection and wiring of network componentsSound understanding in the ERP System and internal process flow with regard to assembly orders and material flowFiber Testing and testing documentationAdvance computer knowledge using programs to log into equipment for commissioning purposes Education and Experience PreferredKnowledge and experience in electronics background.
