Certified Medical Assistant PRN
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs responsible and delegated clinical work in the assigned locations while under the supervision of the Registered and/or Licensed Vocational Nurse and is responsible for the care and treatment of individuals in accordance with accepted professional, legal and ethical nursing and or clinical standards. The CMA is also under the direction and leadership of the Regional Center Director, the Director of Outpatient Nursing, and the Nurse Manager.Primary responsibilities include laboratory collections, individual and family education regarding medications, health and nutrition, behavioral health, and substance use under the guidance of the RN and or LVN.
