VP of Trust & Fiduciary
VP of Trust & FiduciaryDevelops new trust accounts, services existing trust accounts and performs daily functions for accounts under responsibility. Partners with third party money managers to purchases and sell various investment instruments on behalf of customers.Duties/Responsibilities:Develops new Trust business concentrating on both additional trust assets and income.Provides advice in areas of personal trust, estate and tax planning, private banking and investments.Serves as the primary point of contact for customers for any of their financial services needs. Coordinates planning efforts with attorneys, accountants, CLUs, other trust personnel and clients.Services existing trust accounts by communicating with grantors and beneficiaries to determine that trust agreements are being carried out as intended.Performs trust accounting functions for accounts for which he/she is administrative officer.Attend Trust Committee meetings. Provides account reviews, makes recommendations where necessary, and carries out plans as set forth by the Trust Committee.Adheres to and maintains knowledge of trust written policies and procedures.Is actively involved with the community, networking to identify new business development opportunities.Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role.
