The primary objective is to minimize equipment downtime, ensure efficient manufacturing operations, and drive continuous improvement through preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting, and process optimization.This role combines hands-on technical support with leadership responsibilities to ensure timely execution of maintenance activities, effective problem resolution, and adherence to quality and regulatory standards.If you’re passionate about engineering and want to be part of a team that is shaping the future of life sciences, we’d love to hear from you, apply today!What You’ll Do Supervise and coordinate daily activities of engineering technicians supporting production equipmentAssign and prioritize work to ensure timely response to equipment issues and production needsProvide coaching, training, and performance feedback to techniciansOversee troubleshooting of dispensing gantry systems utilizing camera positioning systemsEnsure rigorous daily/weekly maintenance of dispense systems and associated equipmentOversee maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment including:Laser & plasma etching unitsDispensing equipmentUV curing stationsMicroscopesVacuum ovensPneumatic pressesLaminators and drying ovensFilling/Bottling EquipmentReview tools and fixtures for wear; coordinate replacement and improvement efforts with machine shopEscalate and coordinate with equipment manufacturers for technical support and service requestsPartner with engineering to implement new tooling, fixtures, programs, and processes, including:Updating documentationEstablishing maintenance proceduresSupporting training requirementsLead daily/weekly review of equipment issues and downtime to drive continuous improvementMonitor equipment performance metrics and implement proactive measures to improve reliabilityDevelop and maintain equipment downtime metrics and reportsOversee preventative maintenance schedules and coordinate with manufacturing to minimize production impactEnsure execution of maintenance activities in alignment with production schedulesEstablish and maintain spare parts and component programs to minimize downtimeSupport validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and engineering-led initiatives as neededEnsure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and documentation requirementsOther duties as assignedWhat We Are Looking For In You10+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, troubleshooting and maintaining equipment1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferredAbility to work independently as well as part of a cross functional team. Must demonstrate attention to detail and prioritize workload. Efficient response to issues as they arise to minimize delays in manufacturing.
