The Banker will also work closely with Bankers, Risk and Product partners across NAM in order to meet regional goals.Responsibilities:Provide leadership and active participation in global projects for Capital Management (e.g. Banking Balance Sheet Forum, Red Zone, LPM Product, RWA/GAAP monitoring)Partner with Banking partners to execute episodic transactions and drive client planning by delivering product-agnostic solutions, client access, and effective capital allocationApprove / coordinate capital approval.Partner with Risk to ensure strong first line of defenceReport periodically on capital and returns metrics to regional senior managementNavigate strong working relationships with internal and external partnersProvide solutions tailored to clients’ needs and act as a content provider on industry and market trendsRecruit and develop diverse talent for the Corporate Bank and serve as a mentor to junior bankersAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparencyQualifications:15+ years of relevant experienceMBA or Master's Degree in business preferredDemonstrated collaboration with multiple corporate banking stakeholders including coverage teams, risk and productsComprehensive knowledge of corporate banking business including related products, pertinent regulations and the lending and credit approval processDemonstrated leadership, organizational, negotiation, presentation sales, client-relationship building, analytical and credit skillsConsistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communicationExperience in originating, structuring and executing transactions and financingsExperience with large, global corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance and securities productsExperience in recruiting and managing diverse teams with commitment to talent development and ability to manage and work across a diverse and multi-country matrix structureSeries 79 and 63 licenses within 150 days of joiningEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferred------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Institutional Banking------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Corporate Banking------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$200,000.00 - $300,000.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
