For more information, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com.As a Full Time Physician Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Lafayette, IN.Position HighlightsFull-time position (40 hours per week)Monday–Friday schedule with flexible options of 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shiftsClinic hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with a rotating schedule that includes two early shifts and two late shiftsA patient-centered environment where providers have the time they need to deliver high-quality, personalized care—no rushed visitsStrong focus on preventative care and long-term patient health managementPatient visits commonly include annual wellness exams, preventative health screenings, and women’s health servicesPatient population ages 10 and upPrimary care experience preferredCollaborative care team with strong clinical supportExcellent benefits packageThis is a great opportunity for a provider who values building relationships with patients and practicing comprehensive primary care in a supportive team environment.What You’ll DoConducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelinesPerforms procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection managementDevelops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of careEducates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and developmentOrders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditionsCollaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive carePrescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapiesRefers patients to specialists or physicians as neededMaintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and recordsEducates and coaches nursing staff on best practicesPerforms other duties as assignedWhat You’ll BringMaintains state licenses/certifications to practiceMaintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable)Current NCCPA national certification requiredDegree from ARC-PA accredited programFederal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department settingWork-life balance is at the foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise is headed.
