Plant Quality Assurance Manager

What you will be doingAnalyze the quality baseline data to define quality priorities, KPIs, and prepare quality heat maps.Utilize A3 problem-solving techniques and initiate corrective action plans (CAPs) and preventative measures.Institute rework standards by devising inspection and physical testing methods and procedures.Establish standards for the disposition of finished products by creating evaluation tests, methods, and procedures.Monitor and report on the plant’s (department/section/associate) quality performance.Develop and implement a variety of proactive initiatives/projects to support achieving the quality mission and drive quality performance for employees, departments, plants, and contractors/vendors.Ensure quality products by establishing and enforcing standards, and testing materials and products.Establish quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management and production operators.Implement the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and quality inspection processes in line with project requirements/specifications, alarming quality baseline data, and plant quality heatmap.Develop supplier evaluation and material standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements and devising testing methods and procedures.What you will bring alongand/or master's degree in quality management or related fields.Knowledge in quality management within the window wall, curtain wall, and architectural aluminum industry.10 years' of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Background in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 quality systems, and preferable knowledge of OHSAS.Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, CAD, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft BI applications.Lead a larger team and has experience with indirect reports.
