Our culture is grounded in integrity, fairness, and respect for diverse perspectives.Role: Youth Ambassador (Volunteer)LWVCC is seeking motivated high school students in Collin County, TX to serve as Youth Ambassadors.This volunteer role focuses on leading voter registration efforts within schools and educating peers on elections and civic engagement.What You’ll DoAs a Youth Ambassador, you will:Stay actively engaged with the LWV Youth Council and maintain good standingLaunch and lead an LWV Youth Club at your schoolRecruit members and organize club activities (e.g., meetings, social media)Host two voter registration drives annually at your schoolPromote LWV volunteer opportunities and participate in at least two events per yearDeliver bi-monthly civics education sessions through meetings, events, or other formats you designWhat You’ll GainVolunteer service hoursLeadership experience as a club founder/presidentA letter of recommendation or referral from an LWV board memberHands-on experience in civic leadership and community impactWho Should ApplyCurrent high school students in Collin County, TXPassionate about civic engagement, leadership, and making a difference in your communitySelf-starters who are comfortable organizing peers and leading initiatives
