To support the advancement of AI in structural engineering, a remote contract opportunity is available for a Structural Engineer (Germany Licensed) who will design and evaluate AI training tasks based on real-world engineering challenges, focusing on areas such as seismic design and finite element simulation.
Key responsibilities
Design AI training tasks rooted in structural engineering problems, including analysis and code compliance
Write clear problem statements and develop scoring checkers and reference solutions for AI evaluation
Evaluate AI-generated responses for technical accuracy and provide expert feedback to enhance AI performance
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field; Master's or PhD is a plus
Applied experience in structural analysis and design, with proficiency in OpenSees
Familiarity with Eurocode design standards and concepts like pushover analysis and nonlinear modeling
Able to formulate clear engineering problems and write unambiguous problem statements
Detail-oriented, methodical, and self-motivated, with strong written communication skills in English
