MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Assurance Engineer II to join our team in Crane, Indiana. This is an onsite position.As a core member, you will assist in the research & design, engineering, integration, testing, training, logistics, laboratory research, field engineering, and acquisition and operations analysis in support of a variety of Navy and Marine Corps programs and projects with a focus on defensive cyber technologies, mission assurance, and resilience capabilities for the tactical network environment. Your effort will go towards dramatically increasing the warfighter’s effectiveness. If you enjoy working on a highly collaborative and dynamic team and want to make a difference for the warfighter, then we would love to have you on our team!Responsibilities Include But Not Limited ToEstablishes and satisfies complex system-wide information security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demandsSupports customers at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policiesApplies expertise to government and commercial common user systems, as well as to dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and proceduresExamples could include command and control-related networkProvide technical support in investigating and minimizing real or potential damage resulting from security incidentsResearch, analyze, integrate, and distribute IS security tools and associated documentation, subject to government review and approvalProvide on-site assistance for integrating IS security tools into contractor and Government information systemsDevelop and propose security procedures for systems and software within area of expertise to ensure consistent security policy implementation for review and approval by the GovernmentMinimum Qualifications5+ years of experience in the field or in a related areaBA/BS degree or High School Diploma and 6 years of additional relevant experience, or, Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degreeA strong foundation in computer systems, networks, and security principles is essentialAbility to deliver technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience analyzing security risks and vulnerabilitiesPreferred QualificationsMasters DegreeExperience utilizing assessment tools (e.g., ACAS, SCAP, HBSS) and RMF process tools (e.g., MCCAST, eMASS, eArcher, VRAM and DITPR-DON/DADMS) preferredCISSP, SEC+ certificationsCybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) training with current baseline certifications such as: CompTia, Sec+, CISSP, or equivalentClearance RequirementsMust have a current and active Secret ClearancePhysical RequirementsThe person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
