Job Title- Phlebotomist - Float Location- Mays Landing, NJ Duration- 3+ Months Shift- Flexible- Monday - Friday 7:00 - 5:00pm Rotating Saturdays 8am-12pm Required- Covid vaccination and Valid DL Job Summary: The Patient Services Representative III – Floater (PSR III) serves as the face of the organization, providing exceptional patient care and support. This role is responsible for performing high-quality blood specimen collection, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and ensuring a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment. The PSR III plays a critical role in building patient trust by explaining procedures clearly and performing venipuncture with accuracy and care. This position requires flexibility to travel and support multiple locations based on business needs. Key Responsibilities:Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populationsAccurately label and process specimens in accordance with established proceduresVerify patient demographics and obtain patient signatures post-collection to ensure proper identificationMaintain accurate records, documentation, and specimen integrityProvide excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment for patientsAdhere to all safety, confidentiality, and compliance standardsPerform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as requiredMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentTravel to multiple locations and provide coverage with minimal noticeWork independently with minimal supervision while meeting productivity and quality standardsDemonstrate leadership behaviors and promote a positive company image Job Requirements:Ability to deliver accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and multitasking skills in high-volume settingsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgmentFlexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as neededWillingness to travel between multiple locationsReliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (if applicable)Commitment to company policies, safety standards, and professional conduct Required Education:High School Diploma or equivalent – RequiredMedical Assistant or Paramedic training – PreferredPhlebotomy Certification – Preferred (Required in CA, NV, WA) Work Experience:Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections) – RequiredAt least 2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center – PreferredPrior customer service experience in a retail or service environment – PreferredBasic computer and data entry skills – Required Phlebotomist, Phlebotomy, Phlebotomist Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Mobile Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Technician, Certified Phlebotomy Technician #PH7Why TalentBurst?
