Loan Assistant
Texas Methodist Foundation (TMF) is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Loan Assistant to support our Loan Department. This role works closely with loan officers, borrowers, and internal teams to ensure loan processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with established policies.

The Loan Assistant plays a key role in supporting loan operations while providing exceptional service to borrowers and stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys managing multiple tasks with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain confidentiality of borrower information in compliance with policies and procedures
Serve as a first point of contact for borrower inquiries via phone, email, and mail
Prepare loan-related documents including letters, reports, amortization schedules, audits, and agreements
Process loan payments, payoff quotes, paid files, and lien releases
Accurately enter and maintain data in loan and tracking systems
Image and organize documents in electronic filing systems
Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports
Coordinate Loan Committee communications, including email ballots
Schedule and coordinate meetings, Zoom calls, and conference calls
Track and manage insurance documentation with borrowers and agents
Process online applications and portal registrations (Salesforce)
Perform notary services for the State of Texas
Support additional projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–3 years of experience in banking, lending, or administrative support (loan processing experience preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan processing systems such as Silverlake, Xperience, LaserPro, DocuSign, Salesforce, or Banno
Strong organizational and time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
