Housekeeper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role is vital in upholding our standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality excellence. Prior experience in cleaning or custodial services, especially within hotels or hospitality settings, is highly valued. The Housekeeper will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and maintaining the overall appearance of the property. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and facility spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain high standards of floor care, including carpet cleaning and floor polishing as needed Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly for repair or replacement Adhere to all safety procedures related to industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks during scheduled times Support team members in managing workload efficiently during busy periods Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Familiarity with safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Previous experience in housekeeping management is advantageous but not required Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
