Electrical Apprentice

*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic electrical team. This paid position offers hands-on experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair across various commercial and industrial settings. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work closely with licensed electricians to develop your skills in electrical wiring, conduit bending, schematic reading, and safety procedures. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build a solid foundation in electrical work while contributing to high-quality projects that meet industry standards and safety regulations. *Responsibilities* * Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. * Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support accurate wiring and system setup. * Perform conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical systems installation following safety protocols and technical specifications. * Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. * Follow NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code for electrical safety) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure compliance during all work activities. * Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures, including lockout/tagout practices and low voltage handling protocols. * Support construction site activities by maintaining a clean work environment and ensuring all safety measures are followed. *Requirements* * Prior experience as an industrial or commercial electrician apprentice or in related construction site roles is highly preferred. * Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards and NEC regulations is essential for safe and compliant work practices. * Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, conduit benders, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment. * Strong understanding of electrical wiring techniques, conduit installation, and low voltage systems. * Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocol adherence at all times. * Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions precisely.
