Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Marietta, GA in office 5 days per weekTimeline: This Internship opportunity is for Fall 2026 plus two full-time semester rotations.What's in it for you:You will have the opportunity to own a meaningful, real-life project within the Engineering Department that can directly create a positive impact on Daikin Applied's HVAC DevelopmentAn opportunity to build relationships with other students beyond your departmentThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our bestWhat you will do:Responsible for overall customer satisfaction by ensuring what was sold is communicated and fulfilledServes as the liaison between the customer, sales team, and Daikin factoriesVisit job sites with Field Sales Engineers to inspect Daikin HVAC equipmentAssist Field Sales Engineers with HVAC equipment selection that will be used in the design processDetermine project timelines, ship dates, and project costsTroubleshoot customer requests and changes to the initial project scope of workAssist the sales team with technical expertise in the selection/application of standard or modified productsCreate professional sales proposals and submittals from RFP/RFI from clients for Daikin AppliedProvide prompt, accurate responses to sales inquiries regarding special applications, systems, or pricing (Daikin Tools Quotations)Minimum Qualifications:Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relatedExperience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)Work visa sponsorship is not available for this positionAbility to commute to Atlanta Office without relocationPreferred Qualifications:Prior Engineering internship experienceExperience with Solidworks or related CAD softwareSuccessfully completed Thermo-dynamics I, and Fluid Mechanics for Mechanical Engineering majors or similar coursework for Electrical or Aerospace Engineering majorsThe typical hourly pay rate for this position is $25/hr. This represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
