Nature of Work: Seasonal Turf Assistant is a variable hour position that will coordinate with and assist the Director, Manager and Coordinator of Turf Operations at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. This position will be asked to work within the field complex, parking lots surrounding the stadium and stadium field. This position will include work hours on weekends, holidays and overnight hours. Examples of work performed:Performs mowing, fertilization, painting, seeding, field layout, minimal trash pickup and sodding of turf areas.Assists Turf Department during Colorado Rapids home games/concerts/International Games/etc. with event set up and tear down.Monitors field conditions to ensure all fields are safe and playable.Works with management and other staff to assist in day-to-day operations of Fields Complex, Private Events, Special Events, trainings, etc. This description is a summary only and is describing the general level of work being performed, it is not intended to be all-inclusive.
