About the Opportunity:The eBilling Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of electronic invoice submissions and resolving related issues for law firm clients. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely billing processes, maintaining compliance with client-specific guidelines, and supporting financial operations through effective communication and problem resolution.3. Responsibilities:• Manage the full e-billing lifecycle including setup, rate submissions, invoice preparation, submission, rejection resolution, and payment tracking.• Configure new matters in billing and e-billing systems with accurate billing guidelines and rate structures.• Maintain timekeeper rates and budget data within e-billing platforms.• Submit invoices electronically, ensuring compliance with client billing requirements and standards.• Investigate and resolve invoice rejections, reductions, and appeals promptly.• Serve as primary contact with client accounting and e-billing departments to facilitate invoice processing.• Track billing and payment activities using Excel and internal reports, identifying and escalating discrepancies.• Monitor prebills and invoices to meet submission deadlines.• Provide reports on e-billing status, submission timelines, balances, and rejection trends for management.• Collaborate with billing coordinators, attorneys, and staff to address billing inquiries and client requests.• Troubleshoot technical issues within e-billing platforms and coordinate escalations as needed.4. Requirements:• Minimum of three to ten years of e-billing experience in a mid-to-large law firm environment.• Proficiency with multiple e-billing platforms (e.g., Legal Tracker, CounselLink, Collaborati, TyMetrix 360, Passport, Legal-X).• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.• Experience with Bill Blast or E-Billing Hub.• Knowledge of Aderant or Elite billing systems.• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for complex billing scenarios.• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel functions.• Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies to improve workflow and reporting.• Experience reviewing outside counsel guidelines and client billing requirements.• Ability to resolve coding, formatting, and technical issues related to LEDES files and e-billing platforms.• Solid understanding of LEDES formats including LEDES 1998B, 1998BI, XML, and client-specific formats.5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $70,000 annually.• Compensation decisions consider education, skills, experience, certifications, performance, shift, location, and business needs.• Total compensation may include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.6.
