About Us:Vault 44.01 (“Vault”) is a leading carbon capture & storage (“CCS”) developer focused on the development, capitalization, and operation of carbon storage assets throughout North America. Vault’s team brings over 90 years of direct carbon storage experience, with involvement in the development of carbon storage projects across North America since 2007.Vault’s capabilities span technical analysis, project design, permitting, stakeholder engagement, land leasing and acquisition, facility construction, and operations. Opportunity:Vault is seeking an experienced and hands-on Procurement Lead to establish and manage procurement and contracting activities across our projects including drilling, completions, facilities and operations. This role will be critical in ensuring cost control, supplier performance, and schedule adherence as we move into capital project execution and operations. As a key member of the Operations team, the Procurement Lead will develop procurement strategies, manage vendor relationships, and implement processes that support efficient and scalable operations.Description of Role:Collaborate with projects and operations to define procurement requirements and lead procurement activities for drilling, completions, facilities and operationsDevelop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with project schedules and budgetsManage competitive bidding processes (RFPs/RFQs), bid evaluations, and contract negotiationsIdentify and secure long-lead items, ensuring timely delivery and supply chain reliabilityEstablish and maintain preferred supplier lists and vendor qualification processesNegotiate commercial terms and manage contracts to mitigate risk and optimize valueTrack procurement budgets, commitments, and cost savings initiativesImplement procurement policies, systems, and controls appropriate for a growing organizationMonitor supplier performance, delivery, and quality, resolving issues as neededEnsure compliance with regulatory, HSE, and company standardsSkills and Qualifications:10 years of procurement experience in oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure projectsDirect experience supporting drilling and completions programs and/or facilities constructionStrong knowledge of oilfield services, equipment supply chains, and contracting modelsProven experience managing competitive bid processes and negotiating contractsFamiliarity with long-lead equipment procurement (e.g., compressors, process equipment)Ability to operate effectively in a small, fast-paced, and evolving organizationStrong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detailExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsPost-secondary education in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related fieldEmployment and Wage details: Must be able to legally work in the United States of America Travel to operating facilities may be required.
