Forklift Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced, safety-focused Forklift Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily forklift operations while leading a team of forklift operators to ensure the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our warehouse or production facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to manage operations in a fast-paced environment.Duties:Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of forklift operatorsOperate forklifts, including cherry pickers and order pickers, as needed to support operational demands. Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of shipments while maintaining proper handling of materials. Oversee materials handling tasks, including stacking, organizing, and storing products in designated areas. Monitor inventory accuracy using RF scanners and ensure proper order fulfillment. Support and oversee shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists. Train, coach, and mentor forklift operators on safety procedures, equipment operation, and company policies. Enforce all safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for all team members. Communicate effectively with management, team members, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. Skills:Proven experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment with strong knowledge of safety practices. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred. Strong knowledge of materials handling, heavy lifting techniques, and load management. Experience with shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse environment. Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems. Strong organizational and problemsolving skills with high attention to detail. Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fastpaced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
