About the job Service CoordinatorOur client is a growing RV repair and collision operation looking to add a Service Coordinator to support daily shop operations, customer communication, scheduling, and administrative workflow.This role is ideal for someone who has strong customer service skills, understands the importance of follow-through, and can help keep repair jobs moving through the shop efficiently.Position OverviewThe Service Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for customers, insurance companies, vendors, and internal team members. This position supports the service and collision repair process by helping manage customer updates, scheduling, claim-related communication, documentation, and front-office coordination.This role is similar to a collision center CSR, service advisor assistant, or front-office coordinator. The right person will be organized, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy shop environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet customers and serve as a professional first point of contact for the shopAnswer incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiriesSchedule estimates, drop-offs, inspections, repairs, and customer pick-upsProvide regular updates to customers throughout the repair processAssist with insurance claim communication and documentationHelp track claim status, supplements, approvals, and repair authorizationsCoordinate with estimators, service managers, technicians, parts, and vendors to support shop workflowMaintain accurate customer records, repair notes, claim details, and job updatesFollow up with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal team members as neededHelp ensure repair files are complete and organizedSupport parts, scheduling, and production communication as neededAssist with general front-office duties, including filing, scanning, data entry, and customer paperworkHelp create a smooth customer experience from first contact through final deliveryQualificationsPrior experience in an RV shop, collision center, automotive service department, dealership, or repair facility preferredExperience with insurance claims, repair orders, estimates, or customer repair updates is strongly preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to stay organized while managing multiple open repair filesComfortable speaking with customers, insurance companies, vendors, and internal team membersStrong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to work in a fast-paced shop environmentBasic computer skills and ability to learn shop management systemsProfessional, dependable, and team-oriented Ideal Background The ideal candidate may have experience as a: Collision Center CSRService CoordinatorService Advisor AssistantReceptionist in a repair or dealership environmentBody shop office assistantRV service department coordinatorClaims assistant or insurance repair coordinator What Our Client Is Looking For Our client is looking for someone who can help keep communication clear, organized, and consistent.
