Environmental Field Technicians

Do you want to work in a stable, growing company where you are treated as family and not just a number?_ Then Sun Environmental is the place for you! _If you're willing to learn and work hard, we're willing to teach you the Environmental Industry!We're currently seeking Environmental Field Technicians from entry-level to experienced for our branch in Orchard Park, NY.Key Responsibilities:As an employee of Sun Environmental Corp., you will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with emergency response, hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. You must be able to understand and comply with company and client safety standards.This position works a day shift 80% of the time; usually around 6:00 am - 4:00 pm. We do work some nights, evenings & weekends as needed to accommodate customer's needs. Overtime is available and we even have opportunities to earn prevailing wage and double time on jobs.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalentValid Driver's LicenseThe safety-oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.Current Hazwhoper certification is a plus, but not required.Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role.Able to be on-call for emergency response.Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally.Must pass fit for duty physical with the ability to climb, twist, kneel, bend, push and pull without difficulty.It's all about give and take.
