Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

Warehouse AssociateWe are looking for warehouse associates with forklift experience with high attention to detail to move packages and materials around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces, and other facilities. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Load/Unload inbound and/or outbound freight from trailers/containers Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies Transport raw materials to production workstations Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs Comply with company policies and legal guidelines Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. High School Diploma or Equivalent Prefer 2-4 years of experience Must be able to read, decode, and decipher freight coding Consistently lift, standing, bending, and rotating motions Operate hand truck and forklift Must be able to read and write English Basic Mathematics Skills Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government and company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests.
