WE LOVE OUR WORK. SummaryThe Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting in the kitchen to ensure efficient food production and high-quality dishes. This role supports the culinary team by maintaining organization, cleanliness, and food safety standards while preparing items according to recipes and specifications.Prepare ingredients including chopping, slicing, dicing, and measuringFollow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistencyAssist cooks and chefs with food preparation as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environmentProperly store food and label items according to food safety standardsMonitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to leadershipOperate kitchen equipment safely and efficientlyAssist with receiving and storing deliveriesFollow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesSupport team members to ensure timely service BRING US YOUR BEST. Must be atleast 18 years of age High school completion or equivalent required Food Handler Certification required/ willing to obtain Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to stand for long periods Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
