Kitchen Prep/Line Cook
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of various food items, including vegetables, meats, and seafood
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality
- Help with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic knife skills and food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary restrictions is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
