DesignerJOB SUMMARY:Individual will be responsible to develop 3D models and engineering prints for entire exhaust systems and/or its components for any given vehicle platform. Expect close collaboration with Engineering functions to make sure design meets internal and customer requirementsJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Create complex 3D models that comply with vehicle packaging requirements and internal design guidelinesExecution of design tasks as defined in the Engineering Change Management document (ECM)Accurately represent product tolerances and datum structureDevelop engineering prints with adequate tolerances and datum schemesAbility to accurately build and maintain Engineering Bill of MaterialsPresent design proposals to Engineering communityComplete design within the specified deadlineJOB REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related FieldREQUIREMENTS/CERTIFICATIONS:Proficient in NX and/or CATIA and/or CREO design software for 3D and 2D modelingExcellent communication and presentation skillsKnowledge and understanding of GD&T design rulesBasic knowledge of APQP guidelinesManage and prioritize several tasks at onceBasic understanding of manufacturing processes (welding & metal forming)Other Duties: Additional duties, responsibilities, and activities may be required
