PracticeAt Cat Hospital of Metairie, we provide a broad spectrum of feline-focused veterinary services and diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also consult with local veterinary hospitals and specialists when additional diagnostics or treatments are warranted. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, an in-hospital surgery suite, in-house X-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels.Position PurposeCome extern with us!Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.Requirements/QualificationsEligibilityMust be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
