This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong foundation in AP and general accounting who also has the analytical chops to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions as we scale. You'll help build scalable processes from the ground up — and won't shy away from the manual, roll-up-your-sleeves work that comes with being an early-stage startup.You'll work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure financial transactions are accurate, vendors are paid on time, and the books are clean. If you're detail-oriented, process-driven, and excited about growing beyond core AP into broader finance functions, this role is for you.What You'll DoAccounts Payable & AccountingOwn the full-cycle accounts payable process — including invoice receipt, review, coding, approval routing, and vendor payment — ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every stepServe as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies and maintaining strong, productive supplier relationshipsSupport month-end and year-end close activities, including AP accruals, account reconciliations, and journal entriesMonitor and reconcile cash disbursements, track outstanding payables, and assist with short-term cash flow forecastingPartner with Supply Chain and Operations to manage 3-way matching (PO, receipt, invoice) and resolve exceptionsMaintain and improve AP workflows, internal controls, and documentation to support audit readinessAssist with cost coding, expense reporting, and GL coding accuracy across departmentsWillingly take on manual, administrative, and operational tasks as the business demands — no task is too small when it keeps things movingFP&A & Reporting SupportSupport monthly close by tracking actuals vs. plan and helping communicate key variances to stakeholdersContribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, with a focus on expense-side accuracy and vendor spendAssist in building and maintaining reports and dashboards that give leadership visibility into spend, payables, and cash positionIdentify opportunities to streamline and automate AP and accounting processes using ERP tools and emerging workflowsRequired Qualifications1–3 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable, general accounting, or a related roleStrong understanding of AP processes, accrual accounting, and month-end closeWorking knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and comfort with basic variance analysis and reportingProficient in Excel — comfortable with reconciliations, pivot tables, and data organizationHighly organized with exceptional attention to detail — you catch discrepancies others missComfortable wearing multiple hats and taking on manual work in a fast-paced startup environmentBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldNice To HaveExperience with ERP systems, especially NetSuiteExposure to manufacturing, hardware, or startup environmentsFamiliarity with BI or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)Interest in accounting automation and AI-powered finance workflowsBenefitsHealthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k, Unlimited Paid Vacation Policy$88,000 – $112,000 USD
