If you are looking for purpose-driven work guided by these values, find your career at Madonna!**POSITION:****Certified Nursing Assistant, 3-11pm, 28 hours per week (3 or 4 shifts a week), set schedule with rotating weekends & holidays****UNIT OVERVIEW:Extended Care North (ECN)**- Serving residents in a long term care setting.**RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members * Assists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needs * Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations * Takes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse * Participates in patient discharge planning * Performs other related projects and duties as assigned**SKILLS & ABILITIES:** * Strong commitment & dedication to Madonna and the patients we serve * Friendly, caring and professional demeanor to achieve an excellent patient/customer experience for individuals going through difficult experiences * Excellent communication skills * Ability to learn quickly and adapt to challenging situations * What to make a difference in the lives of rehabilitation patients and their families**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:** * 18 year of age * Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved nurse aide training program * Active Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing in Nebraska
