We are looking for a Project Estimator who looks at complex architectural drawings and immediately sees the path from material yield to a successful, profitable build.If you thrive on the technical details of custom systems, know how to spot a scope gap from a mile away, and love the challenge of turning massive blueprints into competitive, winning tenders, we want you on our preconstruction team.What You Will Do:Perform Detailed Take-offs: Conduct comprehensive material, labor, and equipment take-offs for complex exterior facade systems, rainscreens, and custom architectural metal fabrications.Review Technical Specifications: Analyze architectural blueprints, structural drawings, and wind load requirements to ensure estimates align with exact project parameters.Mitigate Risk and Value Engineer: Identify potential scope gaps, constructability issues, or supply chain bottlenecks early, proposing smart value-engineering options that preserve design intent.Manage Vendor Relationships: Secure competitive vendor and subcontractor pricing, analyzing quotes to ensure total scope coverage.Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with project management, design engineering, and operations to ensure a seamless transition from a winning bid to active fabrication and installation.What We Are Looking For:Industry Experience: Estimating experience (specifically within the architectural cladding or division 5/7 metal fabrication sectors - Not a Must, but helps).Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with digital take-off and project management tools. Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Revit, or advanced estimating software is a major plus.Technical Sharpness: Deep understanding of material behaviors (ACM, plate aluminum, insulated metal panels), connection details, and structural loading requirements.Analytical Mindset: Exceptional mathematical skills and a sharp eye for detail.
