Position Title: Mission Integration EngineerLocation: Webster, TX (Houston area)Relocation Assistance: None available at this timeRemote/Telework: No – Onsite requiredClearance Required: NoneWork Schedule: Day Shift (Extended hours may be required for mission support)Travel: Up to 10%Position Summary:Aegis Aerospace is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer to support our Space Flight Systems (SFS) team in Webster, Texas. This role supports Aegis’ commercial Space Testing as a Service (STaaS) line of business, enabling customers to obtain spaceflight heritage, reduce risk for emerging technologies, and conduct scientific research in orbit and on the lunar surface.The selected candidate will lead both the analytical and physical integration of customer experiments across commercial mission platforms, including International Space Station (ISS) payloads and future lunar surface missions. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers during integration and interfaces directly with NASA to support ISS integration requirements. The position blends project management, systems integration, and hands-on hardware work in a mission-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:The candidate will:Act as the primary point of contact for Aegis commercial platform and lunar platform customersManage assigned missions including budgeting, scheduling, and execution oversightGuide customers through ISS and launch vehicle integration requirementsDevelop and maintain mission documentation including interface definition documents, system requirements, design documents, test plans, procedures, and presentationsSupport hands-on assembly and integration of flight hardware and ground support equipmentAssist with functional testing of mission carriers as requiredSupport on-orbit operations for commercial platforms when neededPerform additional duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to pass a government background checkBachelor of Science degree in Engineering or another STEM fieldAt least 3 years of relevant experienceStrong project management and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly dependable, self-motivated, and accountableComfortable working with senior executives, engineers, scientists, and customersDesired Qualifications:Experience with ISS payload integration and safety processesDegree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or Aerospace EngineeringExperience supporting spaceflight hardware or mission integration environmentsApplication Instructions:Resumes must be submitted in month/year format to be considered.
