Join us to help shape the future of one of the world’s leading live service franchises.As a Production Engineer, you will report to the Lead Production Engineer and support game teams by improving development workflows, tools, and day-to-day productivity. You will partner with developers and production to identify friction in pipelines, investigate root causes, and deliver solutions that improve how content is built and shipped. You will work across evolving systems and workflows, using scripting and data insights to reduce manual effort, increase reliability, and enable teams to focus on creating player value.ResponsibilitiesSupport development teams by resolving workflow and tooling issuesInvestigate root causes of production blockers and implement fixesTest and validate in-development tools and content pipelinesBuild scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasksPartner with production to improve team workflows and processesUse data to evaluate impact of workflow improvementsDocument tools, workflows, and solutions for team useQualificationsExperience scripting or programming in an object-oriented languageExperience supporting developers with tools, pipelines, or workflowsExperience identifying issues and driving solutions in production environmentsAbility to work across technical and non-technical teamsExperience testing tools or validating workflows in developmentExperience using version control systems such as PerforceFamiliarity with game engines or DCC tools like Maya or UnrealPay Transparency - North AmericaCompensation And BenefitsThe ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).PAY RANGES British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$104,500 - $142,800 CADPay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
