Structural Engineer

Job Description LBE, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a motivated full-time Structural Engineer to join our Moncks Corner, SC office. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing a variety of structural systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and meeting client expectations. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have passed the EIT. General knowledge of building materials and construction processes is preferred. Military facility design experience is a plus. Our projects include both new construction and renovation efforts across the federal, commercial, and industrial sectors—domestically and internationally. Responsibilities Include: Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, retaining walls, and other structures using applicable codes and standards (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, etc.) Complete structural design and documentation from the conceptual phase through construction drawings Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify construction compliance (occasional travel
