Learn more about us at www.avondaleschools.org.POSITION OPENINGJunior Varsity Girls Tennis Coach – LOCATION: AVONDALE HIGH SCHOOL – REPORTS TO: ATHLETIC DIRECTOR – HOURS: 10-20 HOURS PER WEEK.JOB GOALTo provide instruction of high school athletes in the fundamental skills and strategy of tennis and also instill moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline and self-confidence.WHAT WE NEEDExperience Coaching tennisExperience or plan of building a K-12 tennis programKnowledge/experience scheduling practices and off season workoutsTeach techniques and fundamentals of sportBe able to demonstrate all skills necessary for the sportBe knowledgeable about the rules and regulations of the sportAssume responsibility for constant care of equipment and facilities being usedConduct structured practices that stay within the confines of the specified times at the Athletic DepartmentBe an example of good character and sportsmanship to team at all timesConduct fundraisers to provide money for team supplies and needsOrganize and manage JV matches and assist with overall program coordinationWHAT YOU NEEDWorks cooperatively with administrators, students, parents, and community.Ability to assist in all aspects of the tennis program.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.Develop a positive team culture focused on sportsmanship, accountability, and academic success.Ensure player safety and adherence to district, league, and MHSAA policies.Coordinate offseason conditioning, strength training, and skill development programs.Maintains control of storage and use of school-owned property.Maintains professional competence.Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.SALARY DETAILSPer Master AgreementTERMS OF EMPLOYMENTPer Master AgreementEVALUATIONPer Master AgreementWHY WORK FOR AVONDALEIn addition to collaborating with passionate educators on meaningful initiatives, joining Avondale means you'll also enjoy these outstanding benefits:J-18808-Ljbffr
