The nurse will plan, direct and carry out shift routines in assigned nursing unit and observe, direct and evaluate the activities of personnel as the person “in charge” according to the Nurse Practice Act. Will assume “Building Charge” responsibilities as directed by the DON or Designee.\n\nProvides Leadership and Direction on Assigned Unit.\nMaintains competence in all required skills within assigned area(s).\nCharting, Documentation and Assessment Functions\nPersonnel Functions\nServe on, participate in and attend various committees and meetings of the facility to enhance interdisciplinary process.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nAbout UsThe Valley Manor Care Center is a welcoming community that includes long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, and short-term respite care.
