Cleaning Manager

Maine Street Property Management is property management company based out of Wells, Maine, with various cleaning needs from vacation rental cleaning, long term rental turnovers, housekeeping of private homes, and commercial style cleaning. We are so excited to create this position within Maine Street to manage our cleaning department. The person we are looking for will be an integral role in developing the department and we'd love to find someone who is interested in growing with the company! We are looking for someone with experience, extreme attention to detail and strong work ethic. This position would assist with leading and training our part-time, seasonal cleaners (usually about 40 to 50 people in the summer) for our vacation rental business. Our goal with our cleaning department is ensuring that our houses are always presented in pristine condition. This role will also be a point person with "checking" after other cleaners and reporting back to the Vacation Rental Property Manager. This position will take lead on managing our stock room of linens and cleaning products and helping setup for our busy weekend summer turnovers. Days working will fluctuate, and weekends are required, as needed, especially in the summer. Our winter/off-season is much slower, and the weekend needs should almost completely drop off (but would still be needed if something came up). Pay is $25/hour plus benefits.
