Position OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and quality production of precision-machined parts using CNC mills and/or lathes. Success in this position requires strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain tight tolerances in a production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision componentsPerform basic machine-side program edits (G-code / M-code knowledge preferred)Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&TPerform tool changes, offset adjustments, and machine setup correctionsInspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipmentMaintain tight tolerances and ensure all parts meet quality and production specificationsTroubleshoot minor machining or setup issues to maintain production flowFollow all shop safety, quality, and production proceduresQualificationsMinimum 2 years of CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or both)Setup experience strongly preferred, but experienced operators xmcpwfu with editing capabilities will be consideredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality partsReliable attendance and strong work ethicExperience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or similar CNC controls is a plusManufacturing or precision machining background requiredShifts Available1st Shift – Daytime hours2nd Shift – Shift differential availableWeekend Shift – Full-time hours in fewer workdays
