Are you in?Your RoleKey responsibilities in your new rolePartner with Automotive, Compute, and Industrial customers and marketing teams to define Point‑of‑Load (PoL) product requirements, operating modes, and pin functions with clear, specificationsCo-develop PoL architectures and control strategies (e.g., COT, VM, CM); specify MOSFETs, passives (L/C), and packaging to meet target application needsPerform system- and circuit-level simulations to explore new concepts, verify requirements, and inform design decisionsCollaborate with IC design teams to implement definitions, validate silicon, prototype platforms, and support initial customer design-in and product verificationResolve complex technical challenges through simulation, system evaluation, and hands-on bench testingEnable go-to-market by creating evaluation boards, datasheets, application notes, test reports, white papers, and design tools; develop promotional materials that clearly communicate valueBuild deep application knowledge and customer relationships through regular engagementsProvide advanced training for FAEs and customer teams, deliver second-level technical support, and share competitive insights on VR solutionsYour ProfileQualifications And Skills To Help You SucceedBSEE/MSEE or equivalent, with 7+ years in power electronics and 3+ years focused on PoL product definition and developmentStrong foundation in power conversion topologies, power devices, magnetics, and control‑loop designSkilled in selecting and applying MOSFETs, gate drivers, capacitors, and inductors for PoL designs and applicationsProficient with modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, SIMetrix, or comparable platformsHands-on lab experience using oscilloscopes, function generators, and network analyzers to test and debug switching power suppliesCollaborative and customer-centered, partnering across Marketing, FAEs, Sales, IC Design, and Product Development to drive successful outcomes; proactive in addressing complex design and customer challengesWell organized with strong written and verbal English communication and presentation skills; manages multiple priorities and solves problems independently#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
