Preconstruction Manager
The Preconstruction Manager is considered the project lead and is responsible for organizing and managing construction projects in totality up until the point at which construction begins. Preconstruction Management includes budget and pricing development, development of project scopes of work, phasing, scheduling, logistics planning, and coordination with subcontractors, owners, and other internal team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. The Preconstruction Manager reports to the Broadmoor Director of Preconstruction, may be responsible for managing assistant estimators/assistant preconstruction managers, and may have an Intern or supporting personnel as needed.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in the field of Construction Management or Architecture or related curriculum
5+ years of professional experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction industry, preferably a general contractor or subcontractor
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including, but not limited to PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access
Excellent oral and written communication skills and content development skills with a basic understanding of A/E/C industry terminology.

The physical demands of this position must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for an extended period of time and frequently stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel: and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move office equipment up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include viewing computer monitors. Most work is performed in an office environment during normal business hours.
