Responsibilities: * Engineer fluid and distributed systems, including fuel, hydraulic, pneumatics, fire suppression, camera cleaning, and LRU cooling systems, to meet customer and vehicle specificationsDesign and integrate components into vehicle platforms, ensuring compliance with human factors, safety, environmental, ballistic, and mine blast requirementsConduct analysis and integration of mechanical components, mechanisms, and shock attenuation systems for mounted equipmentApply engineering principles related to materials, welding, fabrication, and mechanics of materials to develop brackets and mounting provisionsSupport engineering tasks such as tolerance stack-ups, markups, and source data for design changes and documentationGenerate material requests, manage shop work requests, and track part inventory and delivery statusParticipate in integration reviews, fit checks, and develop technical reportsProvide ongoing support to prototype, production, and sustainment vehicle efforts, including corrective action and redesign activitiesPresent design concepts and technical risk assessments to program and functional leadershipDirect and oversee CAD modeling and drawing developmentConduct failure analysis, troubleshooting, and implement corrective actionTranslate customer needs into subsystem/component requirements, ensuring alignment with contract deliverablesOccasionally lead or support technical presentations to internal stakeholders and customersCollaborate across multiple engineering disciplines and teams Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering with a strong focus on mechanical systems5-7 years of engineering experience in mechanical design and systems integrationHands-on experience with fluid system architecture, including schematics, analytical models, and troubleshootingBackground in supporting prototype or production buildsProficiency in NX and/or Creo for solid modeling; Teamcenter and Vis Mockup experience is a plusDemonstrated knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective actionUnderstanding of welding, materials, and fabrication techniquesWillingness to travel up to 20% to military sites or manufacturing facilitiesEligible for a U.S. security clearance (non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible)Prior experience working on or around ground combat vehicles preferredAbility to work on and around military vehicles, including climbing on/off as neededWillingness to support weekend, evening, or overtime work when required Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer Your Recruiter Still have questions?
