"We are looking for a Infra Software Engineer to join the CCIBT Infrastructure Solutions team, focused on building next-generation VM automation, self-service infrastructure platforms, and GitOps-driven workflows.This role plays a key part in modernizing infrastructure by reducing manual provisioning, improving developer experience, and enabling faster cloud and data center migrations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / AnsibleBuild VM automation & provisioning frameworks (VMware, Linux RHEL, Windows)Implement GitOps-based workflows using GitHub & GitHub ActionsDevelop Python-based REST APIs for infrastructure automation servicesBuild self-service platforms for:VM provisioningApplication deploymentCertificate & configuration managementAutomate OS image creation using Packer & Vault integrationDefine and enforce infrastructure standards and golden pathsCollaborate with platform, security, and enterprise automation teamsImprove scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency of infrastructure systemsRequired Skills10+ years in Infrastructure Engineering / Platform Engineering7+ years hands-on with Terraform / Ansible6+ years experience with Packer (image automation)6+ years in GitOps (GitHub / GitHub Actions)6+ years building and consuming REST APIs (Python)Experience with VMware, Linux (RHEL), Windows serversStrong understanding of Agile (Scrum / Kanban)Experience in infrastructure automation and patching strategiesNice to HaveBackstage (developer portal)Prometheus / Grafana / ELK StackAutosys (batch scheduling)Vault (secrets management)Immutable infrastructure conceptsLarge-scale migration / hybrid cloud experienceCI/CD pipeline exposureIdeal CandidateA strong Platform / Infrastructure Automation Engineer who is passionate about:Self-service infrastructureDeveloper productivityAutomation-first mindsetBuilding scalable internal platforms
