The Delivery Driver will address customer needs, pick up and deliver parts for VDOT sites, and assist with inventory control.This is an hourly position.Provide quality customer service to include but not limited to the followingAttention to detailMeet and greet customersReview supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed (signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions and quantities)Answer questions regarding availability of partsAsk appropriate questions to ensure correct parts are researched and providedInform customers when requested parts are availableOperate a forkliftReview, familiarize with and adhere to Product Group CatalogReview, familiarize with, and adhere to Policy and Procedures ManualReview, familiarize with, and adhere to MANCON’s SOPs and Safety Manual Parts Pick upDrive vehicle to designated locations to purchase/pick up partsProvide company documentation to vendors as required (tax exempt form, credit references)Review all invoices at vendor location to ensure accuracy on pricing and quantitiesReturn products to MANCON location in a timely fashion Data Entry RequirementsAssist in generating invoices for customer requisitions in the inventory systemAssist in entry of vendor receiving documents in the inventory systemInventory Management RequirementsAssist in physically receiving vendor ordersAssist in performing weekly inventory cycle countsAssist in performing counts during Wall-to-Wall inventories at siteOther RequirementsFollow established guidelines for vehicle and equipment maintenanceProvide 24-hour during emergency and/or critical operationsAssist with inventory research projects as requestedAdhere to required proceduresAssist Store Supervisor as assignedParticipate in the SCM continuing training programValid Driver’s License with two years driving experience24-hour availability during emergency and/or critical operations Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift licenseDelivery Driver experienceAuto parts or heavy-duty truck parts experienceInventory or warehouse experienceMedium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Driving, Lifting, Reaching, Sitting, Standing, Stooping, WalkingWork is performed in storerooms and warehouses which may have uncontrolled temperatures and dirt/dust/damp conditions. Work is also performed in vehicles traveling to sites.
